About Us
I discovered leather working nearly two decades ago and what I thought was a personal fascination turned into a lifelong passion. I wanted to share my passion with others. Little did I know that our family would play an integral role in shaping our company's identity. With everyone on board, I founded Saltwater Leather in 2019.
Like many people who discovered new interests during the pandemic, my son Chase found his in the studio. What started as a hobby shortly became part time, then full time after college. If your product is not made with my hands, than it was certainly made with his.
My youngest, Roman, turned out to be a natural pattern maker and product designer.
My husband Lance and my daughter Lauren have shown up for us, keeping us grounded and pushing us forward when we needed it most.
What started as my passion became something we built together. As a family. In our studio in Costa Mesa.
